The 2013 ACC Football Schedule was officially released at 3:00 today. I know a lot of you are already looking for the helmet schedule, so here it is! Enjoy!
A week after the loss at Michigan, NC State is finally back in action tonight in Madison Square Garden. The Wolfpack is in New York to participate in the Jimmy V Classic for just the second time in the program’s history, taking on the University of Connecticut. And, like last week, the Pack will have the chance to earn a big, non-conference win in a primetime match-up on ESPN.
If you’re as excited about Bowl Season as we are, then you’re going to love this. It should be obvious by now that we love making schedules that not only function, but look pretty. This is no different! Attached below is the 2012 – 2013 Bowl Schedule that features Date, Time, Channel, Logo’s of the 2 teams and Bowl Logo. We hope you enjoy.
Well folks, they don’t call this Championship Week for nothin’. Not only are the teams battling out on the football fields across this great country over the next few days, but the writers of Wolfpack Water Cooler are finishing the season long pick ‘em battle. That’s right, this is the final week of the 2012 season of Pick ‘Em. At least until Bowl Season starts, then we might throw in a meaningless Pick ‘Em week, since that what the bowls basically are. Meaningless.
The Standings:
1) Drew – 93 – 35
2) Dave – 92 – 34
3) Matt – 90 – 38
4) Josh – 88 – 40
We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday, and were able to find some great Black Thursday Night/Friday Sales. We were too stuffed from turkey and cranberry sauce to worry about shopping, but we hope you enjoyed it. Week 13 brings us the last week of the 2012 Regular Season. Hard to believe. We’ve enjoyed picking games this year, and the good news is that we have ONE more week after this one to pick. Drew must already be in the holiday mood, as he gave a couple games in the standings back to the others, but only Dave was really able to take advantage. Dave posted an 8-2 week. The standings are:
1. Drew – 87 – 31
2. Dave – 84 – 34
3. Matt – 84 – 34
4. Josh – 81 – 37
The Wolfpack finally achieved bowl eligibility last week at home against Wake Forest. Already eliminated from Atlantic Division title contention, the remaining two games become a fight for bragging rights and bowl position. State’s last chance to significantly impress bowl scouts comes Saturday, when the Pack takes on the #11 Clemson Tigers. (more…)
Well football fans, if you like close races then the ACC Coastal is the place, and Water Cooler Pick ‘Em is right there too. That’s right, we have a 3 horse race for 2nd place. It appears that 1st could be locked up, but anything can happen with two weeks remaining. However, Josh did give us this insight: “I may be in last, but I’m gonna make up some serious ground when we start picking the 1-AA playoffs”. Sorry Josh, we’ve been picking 1-AA all year. Also known as the ACC. The standings are:
1) Drew 81-27
2) Matt 77-31
3) Dave 76-32
4) Josh 75-33 (more…)
College sports fans rejoice. Your favorite time of the year is here. College basketball tips off and College Football heads down the stretch with teams positioning for bowl games. State is no different. The basketball team tips off Friday against Miami (OH) and the Football team seeks bowl eligibility on Saturday vs Wake Forest (NC). We’ll preview both of these games after the break…. (more…)
Hard to believe we’re heading into week 11 of the 2012 College Football season. It seemed like just yesterday teams entered into the season with high hopes. Let’s look back for a second… Maryland had 4 QB’s, TOB’s seat wasn’t even warm, Virginia Tech was good and UNC was fighting towards a bowl game. The only things that have stayed true from the presason was that FSU and Clemson were good, and BC fans are ready for basketball? baseball? hockey!!
With the 9 games picked last week, we’ve reached an even 100 for the season. Drew maintains a solid lead on first with a 75-25 record. Dave and Matt are tied for second with a 71-29 record while Josh brings up the rear with a 68-32 record. Good news for Dave this week though, as there are no SEC, ECU or Big 10 games for him to pick! If he keeps whining about which teams he doesn’t want to pick, we’ll be down to 3 games a week. (more…)
It’s that time. The Wolfpack Basketball season begins on Friday with a matchup against Miami (OH). The game will be on ESPN3. We’ve given you this game for free. For the remainder of the games, you’ll have to download our basketball schedule (which is also free). Our schedule features the date, time, opponent, opponent logos, location and even the TV Channel the game comes on (if applicable). Enjoy and GO PACK! (more…)
